Don't we all wish that there was a magic potion we could consume to prevent bloating? Well, there is!

Detox drinks are known to cleanse the body of toxins that cause bloating, indigestion and other gastric issues. You can have these once, at any time of the day but I personally prefer detoxing in the morning, on an empty stomach. There are a number of detox drinks that you can make at home using very commonly used ingredients.

Lemon Water

This is the easiest detox drink one can make.
To make lemon water, squeeze half a lemon into a glass of warm water.
According to your taste, you can add mint, raw honey, ginger, cinnamon or turmeric.
This 1 minute recipe has many added benefits like hydration, fresh breath and prevention of kidney stones.

Coconut Water with Lemon and Mint

You're 15 minutes away from a blissful drink!
Break a coconut and make coconut water.
Add mint, raw honey and squeeze half a lemon into the glass containing coconut water.

Orange and Ginger Detox Drink

Juice the orange fruit. Add turmeric and ginger to it.
Blend for 30 seconds and squeeze half a lemon into it.
You can also make carrot juice and it to the recipe for added benefits.

Lemon Ginger Green tea

Preferably, use natural green tea leaves rather than using tea bags.
Heat a cup of water in a saucepan, add the tea leaves and dried basil to it.
Cover the pan for a minute and let it cool after that.
Separately, in a jar, add mint leaves, sliced lemon and raw honey.
Pour the cooled tea into the jar.
Add more water if necessary.

Voila! Your magic potions are ready.
There are plenty of detox drinks that you can make but I, having tried all these, can vouch for the fact that if you consume these detox drinks consistently, you'll definitely find yourself losing those extra kgs.
